Two oil changes, two prices — here's the honest reason
European engines are picky on purpose. Before we start any European car we check the exact viscosity your engine takes and whether the oil has to carry a specific manufacturer approval — the VW 504 00 and MB 229.51 class of certification. Certified oil costs more than generic synthetic. That's the whole difference, and we'd rather explain it than pad it.
